Universal terms

Region-locked. Each card redeems only on the Uber country market it was issued for. Cross-region redemption is blocked at the Uber wallet level.
Validity: US — no expiry (federal CARD Act); UK / EU — 24+ months minimum (consumer-law floor); CA / AU — typically no expiry; JP — see local terms in the Uber Japan app.
