Are Steam Wallet codes region-locked?
Steam Wallet codes are currency-locked, not strictly region-locked. A USD card adds USD to your wallet; a EUR card adds EUR. Steam strongly recommends you pick a card matching your Steam account country — using a foreign-currency code triggers Steam's currency conversion (rarely favourable) and, in some edge cases, refusal of redemption. To avoid hassle: pick the currency of your Steam account.

How do I redeem the Steam Wallet code?

What can I actually buy with the wallet balance?
Anything on Steam: AAA and indie games, DLC + season passes, in-game items (CS2 skins/cases, Dota 2 cosmetics, TF2 keys), Steam Workshop mods, gifts to friends (any game from the catalogue), hardware (Steam Deck, Index, controllers) on the Steam Store, and third-party software publishers selling on Steam (Adobe, JetBrains, RPG Maker, etc.).

Does the wallet balance expire?
No. Steam Wallet credit never expires — leave it for years until your wishlist hits a deep discount during the Summer/Winter sale.

Can I combine multiple Steam codes on one account?
Yes — redeem as many cards as you want; the balance accumulates. The catch: only one currency per account. Once a wallet is set to USD it can't accept EUR codes (Steam will refuse with "currency mismatch"). Stick to one currency per account.

What if Steam rejects my code?
Open your order page (link in your email) within 14 days. We re-issue or refund in the original coin. About 0.4 % of codes get rejected, usually due to (a) a typo, (b) a wallet currency mismatch, or (c) the rare Steam restriction on the issuing country. We resolve all three cases.

Why pay Steam in crypto?
